How a sermon gets placed
When a sermon takes a side on a topic, it is tagged with the position it sounds closest to. A sermon that never touches a topic isn't placed on it. One sermon is one data point, never a verdict on a pastor or a church.
The middle isn't the answer
The middle of the collection is just where the sermons we've scored sit on average. Near the middle isn't the same as right, and a rare view isn't the same as wrong. The Sunday Score is where faithfulness to the text is measured.
